friday was in sch, meeting, left at 9.20. haha, i tell u, sln meetings are cool, it's at night! and huijuen, xiuhuan and me played soccer. at 9pm. AHAHAHHAHAHA, we played in the field and the canteen! yay! super cool.

and managed to chiong back in time for survivor! muddy thinks survivor is super cool, this series is uite nice, u should go watch. the teams are more balanced this time. wheeeeeeeeeeeee

then saturday, went to sch to play netball and special olympics in the afternoon. reached home at 7! muddy gets to play netball for class; the first time in 4 years! haha, thanks noisan for not putting me in cheering. really, thank you very much. wheeeeeeeeeeee, lots of new things to learn. muddy is a psychomotor moron but muddy is qiang! muddy finalyl figured out what a WA is. haha, the funnest positios are WA and C. yay! and ching ting is super cool. wheeeeeeeeeeee, haha, she was guarding me and she's really qiang too!

wheeeeeeeeee, ms yani has left special olympics. hm.. maybe there's really no future in full-time volunteering? muddy doesn't know. but the little kids were super cute. Outreach big boys vs katong little kids. AHAHAHAH, it was super funny. some of the outreach people gave so many chances. like trying to score but aiming for the goalkeepers' feet. or stealing the puck to pass to another little kid. ahahahahahah

and today! muddy's first biathlon. did the 500m swimming. my mum's friend, the IT HOD in her sch, this funky person did the 5km run. haha, she almost died when pam, the little sec 1, zoomed past her. 10min40sec for 500m, quite pathetic. haha, but ok lah, considering muddy's aching like siao from the past few days. wheeeeeeeee

muddy went to sentosa today for the terry fox run today! yay! it rained quite heavily in the morning so when we were running, it was drizzling. AHAHAHAHAAH, guess how we got there? the queue for the bus was super long so shauna's dad volunteered to take us. haha, he didn't know there were so many of us! it's an 8-seater that took 15 people! AHAHAHHAHAHA the people behind us in the queue were super amused. haha

yay, so off to the run! it was rather short, 20mins+ jolene timed, quite crowded, had to snake in and out. hm.. and that was 4km? supposedly. AHAHHAHA, the 8km run was cancelled, dunno why, so everyone ran 4km. hm.. it didn't even feel like 4km, muddy and jolene ran that day in sch and we almost died. so we concluded that there are several major factors that affect running.

and muddy got 3 certs for participating in ndp. 1 from hq, 1 from the parade and ceremony comm, and 1 from guess who? the minister of defence! mr teo chee hean. he used to be the education minister and muddy remembers how peaceful those times were.

ok, now on to muddy's grand plan. if somehow muddy becomes some important minister, preferably minister for defence, or just a chief of army would do, here's what muddy wants to do.

• screen all saf personnels. estimated 95% will be fired. (literally, AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA)
• bring in Israeli soldiers to train the army.
• make national service compulsory (u can be a nurse later, but first you must learn how to handle a weapon so you won't accidentally shoot yourself)
• bring in OLD SCHOOL army (: YES! MUAHAHAHAHHAHAHA, for those that don't understand, old school army is when you must polish your boots like siao, starch your collars, and if your personal cupboard is unsatisfactory, you can wait to pick it up the mess, and your cupboard, from the ground floor.
• the best part, if you are freakin unfit after 2 years of NS, guess what? you simply get to do more NS! and you have to PAY to do NS! YES!

hm.. maybe it's just bad timing. When we came into office, they started talking about all the changes;no action. just when we're 99% out of the door, they suddenly start changing everything. If you measured school life in terms of normal human life, sec 1 would be 0-15, when you're learning. sec 2, maybe 16-30 when you start to grow up. 31-50 for sec 3, cause time seems to pass so slowly, and lastly 51-80? haha, muddy doesn't know. so the point is, we're like at the ah ma age of 60+, 70+ and here you are trying to attack the younger kids. after we hand over, you think we lost all the power and you start whacking our juniors. but no, who said energy cannot be created? haha, we created new power to put into the sec 3s and the younger ones; we retain our power. it's just whether we want to exercise it or not. You know how you watch some spy movie and the hero is this old ah ma who's a spy in disguise and one day she whacks the bad guys with her walking stick? haha. Muddy can't bear to leave my juniors to face these evil things alone; but muddy can't stay either. and one reason why muddy is so sceptical about all these changes/ if you want to know why there's so much resistance from us? They're being initiated by people who have had less experience than us, so to speak. We the sec 4s have been in rgs for what, 3 years plus, and some of them just came in. the fact is, in muddy's opinion, they don't understand our culture at all so why are the trying to change it. if you change the official culture and what it seems like on the outside, all the precious things in the inside that you don't think/think it doesn't exist will slowly corrode away. what makes you think you know everything and why do you want to know everything? Can't you appreciate a little secrecy and mystery between the juniors and us? Why must you come in and distrub, you're not welcomed. and muddy will laugh and watch you pick up the pieces. but no, by then you would have killed off a generation of us. that's why muddy doesn't want to let you have your way. you can change things, you can screw it up for all i care and destroy your resume, but muddy doesn't want you touching my juniors. leave them alone you evil fiends. u want another reason why we are going against you so much? it's because we have seen what the rgs culture should be; what paradise of school life is like. we have seen it in sec 1, when you weren't here, when the younger ones weren't here either. We know what a vibrant sch commumnity is like and the way we're heading, it's way off course. haha, but you won't belive us. you say change is inevitable, obviously we know, and you say traditions cannot be kept (go ahead, and you'll see that there is no school culutre to talk about). what is sch culture without traditions? and why has traditions become a taboo within a short span of 3 years when it was the wow factor that united the school. muddy wants the old way of life. some of us say we're glad we're leaving, but muddy doesn't feel thsi way. muddy can't leave in peace until knowing that everything is under control; your control. not the evil people's control. They make up a minute percentage of the school population, you are the school man. without you guys, there won't be school. the most comforting thing is that muddy knows there is a group of people who are continuing the work that we have done. how big a group? Muddy honestly doesn't know. but so long there is one person, all is not lost! at the end of the day, we will rise up when the opportunities arrive for the revolution.

then saw kelly at macs! she was with her mum, they were going cycling! haha, then later when we were cycling muddy saw them again!

and we picked two up but one lan diao so muddy threw it back in.

hm.. and we realised how much junk there is in the sea

so muddy and lulu had an idea

they should divide garbage collectors into land and sea.

then lulu and muddy will volunteer to kayak and collect rubbish.
