anw, muddy made an important discovery while making milo! somehow the milo powder dissolves anti-clockwise when you leave it alone, interesting? haha, maybe it's something to do with magnetic poles. it makes sense, if u think of the earth as a big magnet and the north and south thingy, wheeeeeeeee, muddy smart? smart! talked to my ex-swimming coach just now. btw, he's a commando! WAHAHAHHA, super cool. yep, he said he was in canoeing last time, ACJC and he had crazy seniors who were all commando material.

warm up: 200 pushups. each session they do like 700 pushups.

and the pull ups! wahahahaha, immediately after the pushups, their captain would say "gentlemen, please get up on the bars" then they'll do 10 sets of 15. ouch. and there's still circuit training, haha. they didn't have coach, only crazy seniors. ahhh, and my coach said despite all their training, they still lost because of technique. hm....

muddy still can swim reasonably well! wow, reading abt what Bill and Melinda Gates are doing for this whole world health and eradicating poverty is amazing. they're giving away all their money like no one's buisiness. must we wait till we're super rich before we start to give? ahhhh, see, muddy's guilty too, muddy thinks that many of us tend to say, we'll give to the poor when we become rich, like when we make a few millions or something. why? because these people seem to be living in a world so different from us, like they're not part of our lives at all.

canoeing + company chalet!

hi everyone, muddy is back since leaving the house at 7.45am on tuesday! waahahahhahah

canoeing! WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE, only 2 girls rj senior were there, but they were super patient, teaching bel and muddy the K1s! WAHAHHAHAHA, K1s are very unstable, much lighter though, abt 2/3 the weight of T1s. quite fun, almost got it for a while but tried to swerve to avoid this guy and whoa, capsize! WAHAHAHHA, we got super wet, and a little muddy! then went onto the T1 for a while, bel had to leave for buffet, and yep, felt more comfortable in it! woohoo! muddy's getting stronger i tell you. muddy's very high now!

then went to food junction at J8 for lunch. btw, the seniors, aster and michelle were super nice, they walked us all the way to the toilets then they went to another further one. then all the way to pasir ris, downtown east! wahahhahahah, yep, the chalet's quite small BUT it's nice (:

yay, haha, we watched spongebob and were going spastic waiting for part cs to start the bbq fire, haha. lots of food, not bad lah, wheeeeeeeee. and um.. what do i call her? er.. yunzhi was there yep, haha, so nice of part cs. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

then the skits, all quite cheem, haha and we were suppose to put up an item? we did silent night. "silent night..." get it? WAHAHAHAH

yep, the whole nco combi thing went quite well, much much better than what we expected, hope it works out. yea, muddy thinks we were freakin honest, like we told them abt the mistakes we made and everything, haha, no point keeping all these to ourselves anymore. loads of advice from us to them, and they were taking notes, super cute, wheeeeeeeeeeeee!

ok, next comes the super super important part. haha, u can see what kind of seniors we are and what kind of juniors they are. btw, the time's abt 11+, we left the rm and javine promised lulu 5 bucks if she could get us booze. and lulu did! wah, javine just gave her 10 bucks! haha, we played this fun game, called "I never" (please note, this is NOT suitable for orientation games) you start by saying "I never something something", then all those playing who did the something must drink! wahahahhahahaha, the booze was some wild turkey thingy, not bad. then we went back to talk to them, and left again i think. walked arnd, now it's about 1am. sat at some weird corner to talk crap. when we went back , part cs told us their "FINAL COMBI" which was like 180degrees upside down. we were too shocked to comment, wahahhahaha. then after shock, we got a little worried and suddenly, they started laughing or something and omg, we CLOBBERED their heads with pillows. WAHAHAHHAHAHAH, think they almost died but wah, the combi really scared the guts out of us lah, hahahahhahaha. anw, we were calling each other drunkards half the time, everytime someone gets confused it's because she's drunk. haha, but seriously, 8 % alcohol. quite ok.

er... muddy must state that muddy DOES NOT believe in drinking till you're durnk. it's damn dumb and a waste of money. and if u want to drink, drink with your really good friends who won't do stupid things and er... drink at home/non-clubs, no point paying so much for a drink. it's good to hold your drink, just in case, yep.

part cs were very nice, left the rm to us though they were super tired, haha, and they did come back at 3.30am before they announced the combi. yep, then at 4.30 they came back again, and we being ahhhhhhh freakin nice seniors, gave up the rm!

haha, ok, three reasons why we gave up the rm. one, they looked super tired, some of them look like going to piak on the floor anytime. two, wheeee, we wished sec 4s did that for us and three, we are NICE (: yay!

yep, muddy thinks that's the best way to learn, by experiencing it, then you can decide what you want to continue and what your seniors didn't do/did that yea, you get the idea.

so we went walk walk again, this time it's raining, we couldn't go out, if not must pay another dollar for entrance. so we walked and walked and wheeeeeeeeeeeeee, there was this little pavillion right in front of us! enough benches for all of us to sit and sleep and even got tissue and guess what? it's NEXT TO THE FITNESS CORNER! WAHAHAHAHHa

ok, the next part is exciting. lulu wiped the pullup bar and parallel bars (muddy's 2 favouritest stations) with the er.. tissue "provided" then muddy went to play too! haha, and ok, important important, muddy did TWO pullups! WAAHAHHAHAHAHAH, and muddy did twice! yay! muddy is qiang! lalalallalalalalala, and er... ok, must be humble BUT muddy is damn qiang!

ok, back to the story, after playing till 5+ (breakfast time) we went back to our bags and "faded into the background", the day we've been waiting for? haha, we went for macs breakfast at 5.30am. yep, as we were walking out, we were saying, it's finally over. no more commitments, nothing, company, please forget us (for a while lah, just reserve some little space somewhere for us, ahahahhahaha) yep, time to move on, not just us but you all also.

although we sort of disappeared abruptly, it was er..... quite well timed, see, so zi dong, what we wished sec 4s did. haha, but well, different styles, different strengths, we've made many mistakes along the way, hope you all have learnt from watching us fail (and succeed!)

uh oh, muddy just learnt that yunzhi reads muddy's blog, and NUS high sch caters macs for their camps lah, how cool is that, haha, and muddy made some of the burgers for them, wahahhahaha. yep, she's doing well now, though we didn't have a chance to groom you, you're still quite qiang, haha, all the best (: ahhhhhh crap, forgot to ask you this, if you read, please pass the answer to muddy somehow k? tell bernice, haha. how many possible nco combis could you all have? as in all possibilities. and second question, does the number in each part, like whether two or three noc affect the permutation? it's called permutation? haha

ahhh, anw, so many presents, felt like rod, haha. and part as asked for our autographs! we're thinking of helping them sign every yr! haha

and part cs, thank you very much for chalet. we're quite glad how things worked out in the end. chuan dao qiao tou zi ran zhi. yep, take care and rmb, DON'T ask us back for company dinners, or at least the first few, must have time with your part.

and part as and bs and future part as, you all will be the only part your sec 3s every get to take. you are what they get after slogging it through 3 years of you know what. so treasure them.

today was the first rj canoe clinic! WAHAHHAHAHAH, it was super super fun! yay!

went to rj at 8.30, yep, left the place at around 9 to mac ritchie! went to some er.. place that muddy has never seen before in mac ritchie, the canoe shed! yep, super cool, each sch has their own shed. then on to the water!

the canoe is much lighter than the kayak! bel and muddy took the singles, then javine and shawna and clara and charmaine took doubles! wheeeeeeeeee

haha, while attempting to get into the canoe, muddy sort of capsize! yep, the water level was quite shallow, muddy could stand in the water! wheeeeeeeeeeeee

and off we went towards the race lanes! we stopped at the 500m mark and the 1000m mark. wheeeeeeeeeee, then muddy took doubles with charmaine, haha, we are qiang super fast fast lah. WAHAHAHAHHA

omg, muddy can hardly walk. like ouch. ahahhahahaha, even muddy's shoulders hurt for some reason. wheeeeeeeeeee, marathon results out! 1h 15minutes! AHHWHAHAHHAHAHHA

standard chartered marathon!

just woke up after piaking from standard chartered marathon!

left the house at 5.50am and when muddy went there, the marathon runners were already starting! by the time it got to the 10km runners to start (7am), the marathon runners had already finished about half of their race! they are super fast and they were still sprinting! the women's one was too fast for muddy to see anything! waahhahahahah

ran with huijuen and jolene, haha, they can pace very well (: and we didn't stop throughout the 10km except for water.

muddy thinks that marathons should also be known as mass littering sessions, when the runners pass the water stands, the volunteers there had already uncapped hundreds of bottles and the runners just grabbed, drank as much/little as they wanted and THROW anyhow! ahahahha, the whole floor was wet!

saw lots of familiar faces there, mr ong, according to belinda he was dying when he finished, the rg baketballers, er.. stephanie from 4/7, mrs anis and ms christina. lots more people were there too. yep

and wheeeee, went to sports expo, tried to act smart (but muddy is smart) and dropped off an a weird 143 bus stop and started walking to suntec. haha, was looking at the tall buildings and padang to find my way, wahahha luckily it's civil district got a lot of national history museum maps around.

wheeeeeeeeeee, waited for around 25 minutes. oops i just killed a mosquito. anw, decided to be nice and help answer all the surveyers and take pamphlets. wahahhahahah, yep, paying it forward. see. decided to be nice!

did the dynamite biceps challenge! WAHHAHAHAH, quite ok lah, but muddy discovered that muddy's right arm is er.. super weak compared to left! haha, alien body i tell you, and the macs people keep asking muddy if muddy is left-handed. training hard to get into shape now! it's december, time to stop slacking and the piak ankle is much better, though it's still a bit weird when running.

grabbed a taxi, 3 taxis didn't want to go west coast. the uncle was super nice. mr kang i think. he talked a lot of rubbish and fun stuff about his kids, education system etc and the whole trip was fun! haha, yep, and muddy was rather broke, had only $10.05. he said it was fine and took me right to the doorstep of west coast macs, which was $11+. what a nice taxi driver! yep, was talking to him, then he said he used to be a consultant 2 years back but quited. he said he was happy with having enough, and didn't need the stress that came with that kind of money. yep, what a meaningful ride. wheeeeeee

today muddy was assigned to Lobby. meaning keeping the whole dining area clean. ahahahha, super fun, muddy's pro at lobby now. wheeeeeee, first must clear the tables, return the trays to the wash area when there's more than 3 at each rubbish bin. to complicate things, there's a mac cafe at the west coast branch so the trays are different and u can't throw away the utensils. then wipe using the cloth and spray from the cool waist pouch, then need to sweep and mop (only when a drink is spilt and today sway sway a little kid spilled coke). and there's the smoking area too, so need to provide ash tray, try sweeping the smoking area and you'll just die. forever filled with little grey particles all over the floor. and the funnest part is emptying the trash! when the bin is 3/4 full, tie it and bring it to the main garbage area outside. super fun! then change the bin lining, wahahhahaha. there's this catch in all the rubbish bins that let u open and take out the trash! super fun rite? WAHAHAHHA

the uniform is not too bad, but no pockets in the pants, going for typhoid injection later so can work in kitchen tmr! wheeeeeeeeeee

ahhh, too bad i don't get to see the money, the pay goes straight to bank account. i think the pay should be $4 an hr if i'm not wrong. and u get a free meal! WAHAHHAHAHA, i think i'll just die if i eat macs everyday for the next 3 weeks or so.AAHHAHAHAHHA

went to psl camp on monday! wahahhahahha, not bad lah, all of them super enthu, wahahahahah, helped out at station games with yufang. had loads of fun suanning bernice at her can station! left at 6.30 because SHE won't let us stay. ahahha

anw, day 2 was super funny. rng and muddy went at 5pm for their dinner? ahahhaha, in the end started at 6. wheeeee, we bought drinks because the lousy caterer didn't provide drinks and long johns! almost died carrying the drinks, the aunite at the provision shop gave me a super weird look.i bought $24 for drinks, 12 cartons of 6 packets. and brought a root beer from home. yufang reckons muddy should have told the auntie that muddy was super thirsty. WAHAHHAHAHAHA, yep, it was a good workout lugging the drinks there. haha, didn't know muddy was so strong! WAHAHAHHAHa, muddy is qiang! LALALA

AHAHAHAH, shall stop here, all you need to know is rng and i watched white chicks with them. helped out at night surprise with anna at e blk level 4, had fun scaring the psls. AHAHAHHAHA, muddy promised not to scare anna so yep. but we played a trick on qianling! AHAHAHHAHAH. bernice was the original victim but her hp was off. so i called qianling "HELP, ANNA just fell while running after the psls, aster come" and qianling and yingling chiong-ed their guts out and flew up the stairs and kana freaked out by muddy who conveniently scared them. AHAHHAHAH, u should have seen their faces. anw, at least we know the psls will be very safe in the event something like that were to happen. after lights out, we caught 3 psls, including shauna's sister, ROLLING UP AND DOWN BLK J CORRIDOR IN THEIR SLEEPING BAGS at 3.30am. can u believe them? anw, most of them couldn't sleep because they were hungry, ahahahha, the beehoon thingy was too gross for their dinner. luckily rng had chocolates! wheeeeeeee, and there was bread for breakfast which thye ate at er.. really breakfast, at 1.30am. ahahhahahha. and we ordered macs! ahahahhaha, the spsls asked rng and i if we ordered macs last yr, and we were like "huh? macs only started delivery this yr" wahahahha. yep, heard there's lots of weird things going on, but they are qiang! wheeeeeeeeeee, they will smack the evil uh hum. wheeeeeeeeeeeee

ahhh, farewell alma mater, ahahahahahhaha. left the house at 7am on thursday, dropped off mum at her workshop, then picked up huijuen and wheeeeeeeee, all the way to meritus mandarin.

rehearsal was quite er... not that good, haha. wheeeeeeeeee! made new friends! WAHAHAHHAHAHA had lots of fun talking rubbish with sauling and janna.

ahahah, was quite freaked out actually. murphy's law lah. the mike was the speaker's mike thingy and it was freakin small. when i saw it i almost died, how on earth do u do ventriloquism with such a small mike? AHAHAHHAHA, luckily they brought in new mikes later.

muddy's been at leadership camp these few days and the whole experience was very good (: wheeeeeeee, where shall i start?

muddy got to do challenge pole! haha, muddy was actually quite freaked out, wheeeeeeeeeeee. "is the pole shaking or are my legs shaking?" AHAHAHHAHAAH

yep, muddy was facil of gp 6, the UGlies, wheeeeeeeee and joohui was co facil. wheeeeeeeee. hm... UGlies, haha, realised during the conecert that their voice projection is super qiang, one of the few groups that we could hear from the back. yep, didn't now they had so much rubbish to sing and perform. haha, wheeeeeeeeee

being a facil at camp was a whole new thing compared to being a participant. yep, must cheer on your group, motivate them, get them going, do lots of weird stuff and share with them, not to mention all those reflection sessions, which worked out quite well for us.

yep, one most impt thing that muddy learnt (improved on) was to look on the bright side (: WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE everything is positive, everything is good! AHAHAHAHHAHAH yep, especially when the group didn't complete the activity "successfully", muddy didn't want their morale to be down so it was very refreshing even for muddy to see them hey, even though we didnt manage to do the activity, we were still successfull because we displayed teamwork, cooperation and care for others.

muddy can confidently say that we all tried very hard. the teachers, the participants and the facils. we wanted the camp to be a success so we pia-ed our guts out for it. some things didn't go our way, we learn from them. the whole camp atmosphere was super good but the food was totally gross, which muddy shall not elaborate.

haha, and all the participants, even those who were not in my group. thanks for accomodating muddy's weird antics, ahhaaahhaha, thanks for replying when muddy suddenly says hi (: all of you have been leadershi pcamp what it is and there's just so much potential in you. we all start at different levels and maybe some of you might think that hey, i'm so far back , the others are way ahead, there's no way i can reach them. but wheeeeeeee, look at yourself, you all did it, some of you conquered your fear of heights, some of you didn't know how daring you could get, some of you learnt to let go. yep, let go.

and as what one of the participants said, the high elements and rope courses had so much more meaning after the camp. Trust your belayer, learnt to let go of support to advance, taking risks, supporting each other, encouraging each other, being spontaneous. maybe the next time u pass the camp, these nice memories will come flooding back (:

muddy watched how much some of you have grown up, esp bernice, yufang, anna, yep, haha, i think even you can't imagine how much you have changed. zipline, high roped, shaking hands with another blindfolded person on the obstacle, u guys did it (: thanks for showing muddy what it means to have touched someone's heart. thanks for showing muddy that there's purpose in muddy's actions.

and facils again, thanks for pia-ing through the sun and mud (yes mud) and the freezing aircon together. we did it (: ahhh, u noe what? it's raining like siao now and muddy lives very close to camp, yep, haha, good timing, luckily we siam today, good luck to the other sch that started camp today.

yep, and we played more games today! something that really helped us see whether we really think humans are good by nature or evil by nature. also part of the lesson but he made it so interesting. and yea, he said that if we take KI, it shouldn't be for better chances of scholarship or for that matter, any subject, yep, it has to be partly interest.
